It took about 30 minutes. Now that you have done the quiz, you are more familiar with policy than if the principal just reviews it. It will also be easier next year.Kenneth and Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15026204283850918849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-546850723894819686.post-57951062134450930112012-08-18T00:41:52.538-06:002012-08-18T00:41:52.538-06:00What's the point of the policy review being in...What's the point of the policy review being in the form of a quiz? Does that mean that an individual's answers could be used to monitor that employee's compliance/non-compliance with policies and then possibly be used against them in some way? I don't trust this type of instrument for scoring specific responses other than to document policies that an employee may be violating. Could it even be used as a means to even target a so-called "undesirable" employee by an adminstrator who wants a reason to get rid of a particular person? I concur with the previous comments that this requirement only serves to take more prep time away from teachers. This is another example JEA misrepresenting the best interests of teachers and why I am no longer a member (in addition to the Obamacare endorcement which I also oppose.)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-546850723894819686.post-39924758109658643452012-08-17T09:53:59.104-06:002012-08-17T09:53:59.104-06:00I agree with the previous comment. Thank you JEA for being so talented at negotiations and knowing that teachers truly value their time. Two hours of review on the computer vs 20-30 minutes of talking...that's giving us so much more and not taking away our prep time at all. Please don't negotiate things that work!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-546850723894819686.post-59775471922992444612012-08-11T21:14:14.987-06:002012-08-11T21:14:14.987-06:00So instead of a 20 minute powerpoint at faculty me...So instead of a 20 minute powerpoint at faculty meeting, we have to complete a two hour review online. Thanks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
