Last Friday, State Superintendent Larry Shumway appointed Ralph Haws as the Hearing Officer for the fact finding process we have entered since being unable to settle negotiations after mediation. The Negotiations Team met with Mr. Haws today to discuss timelines, the process, and documentation JEA needs to provide for him to fulfill this duty. Our next meeting with Mr. Haws is scheduled for Wednesday, August 25.
